In his casual conversations with customers…

He would ask,

“What kinds of cosmetics do you like?”

And the customer would reply,

“I want cosmetics that are gentle to my skin.”

“I want to use cosmetics that are gentle to my skin, but I’m looking for something that’s effective.”

“I’m worried about my skin getting dry with age.”

“I want skin that’s firm and radiant,” and so on.

He was able to listen to all kinds of feedback.

Moreover, the founder’s wife has weak (sensitive) skin and had ordered many samples of cosmetic products to try, in an effort to find something that suits her… Indeed, finding something that suits you feels like a “treasure hunt.” VICHELIA’s founder had witnessed first-hand how difficult it was to find a product that suits one’s skin.

Even if you use cosmetic products that are gentle to your skin, they cannot be deemed to be good products if customers do not feel the effects. Conversely, even if the product is effective, you cannot continue to use it if it does not suit your skin.

Therefore, VICHELIA’s founder thought, “in that case, I will make it myself.” He then began the long journey of researching and developing cosmetic products that are both “gentle to one’s skin” and “effective.”
